Seventy six years ago, in September 1928, the Women's Guild,
originally called the Ladies' Aid Society, was established
at St. Leon Armenian Church. As members, we continue to work
in the loving spirit of the women who walked before us to
assist the Pastor and Parish Council and cooperate with all
the organizations affiliated with the church for the moral,
spiritual and material growth of the parish.
The Women's Guild Pledge
"I solemnly pledge and promise as a member of the Women's
Guild of the St. Leon Armenian Church of Fair Lawn to uphold
the By-laws of this organization and to do my best to preserve
the heritage and progress of the Armenian Church. With the
Women's Guild being an extension of that spirit, I will work
with my fellow members willingly and harmoniously, performing
duties requested of me with open mind and heart. I will extend
my hand in service to my community, church and God."
Membership Requirements
All women who subscribe to the doctrines and teachings of
the Armenian Church, or any applicant whose husband is a member

may become a member of the Women's Guild.
