Women's Guild

80 Years of Service to Our Church In September 1928, the Women's Guild, originally called the Ladies' Aid Society, was established at St. Leon Armenian Church. Sunday School

Welcome to St. Leon Sunday School! Our mission is to educate our youth spiritually as Armenian Christians.  Classes range from Nursery through our eleventh grade graduating class. Children can begin attending Nursery if they are age 3 by October and toilet trained.We begin at 10:00 a.m. each Sunday with group assemblies or church.  Grades Pre-K through four learn the church sharagans as well as fun, wholesome Christian songs at a pre-scheduled time. Armenian School

St. Leon Armenian School welcomes you to the 2010-2011 School Year. We have many new and exciting programs to offer including classes for children in Eastern Armenian.  Our traditional Western Armenian classes for children are offered and a new Teen class and Adult class.  Our dedicated staff is prepared to provide a year of learning about our language and heritage. Senior Citizen's Center

The St. Leon Senior Center meets every Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The group has lunch and socializes by Bridge, Backgammon, and card playing. Each week we have about 60 Seniors, both men and women. Once a month a nurse from the local hospital gives free blood pressure readings and keeps a record for each person. We have occasional trips to Atlantic City on the last Tuesday of each month. We have "Friday Night Socials" the last Friday of each month...

Sports Association

Since its inception in 1967, The Armenian Churches Sports Association ACSA has fostered basketball competition throughout the NY-NJ metropolitan area. The New York and New Jersey Armenian Churches and their parishioners support the league.
