Armenian School

St. Leon Armenian School welcomes you to the 2010-2011 School Year.

We have many new and exciting programs to offer including classes for children in Eastern Armenian.  Our traditional Western Armenian classes for children are offered and a new Teen class and Adult class. 

Our dedicated staff is prepared to provide a year of learning about our language and heritage. Speaking, reading, writing, singing, poetry, history, geography are areas we include in the program, but the Armenian School experience offers much, much more. Our classes develop friendship and camaraderie.  Our classes for children include games and fun activities, arts and crafts, the development of stage presence and poise gained from participation in the annual Hantes.

All classes are held from 6 PM to 8:30 PM on the church grounds.

Tuition for the term is $250 per student for all classes.  Approximately 35 sessions.

Throughout the year we will have fundraisers to help defray the costs of running the School.  It is hoped that all Armenian School families and our community at large will support our fundraising and attend our programs. Donations and assistance are always appreciated from any source.

Classes Offered

Western Armenian for Children 5 to 14 Years Old

Fridays from 6 PM to 8:30 PM

Eastern Armenian for Children 5 to 14 Years Old

Fridays from 6 PM to 8:30 PM

Intermediate Western Armenian for Children 8 to 18 Years Old

Prerequisite – Must speak Armenian

Mondays from 6 PM to 8:30 PM for Younger Students

Wednesdays from 6 PM to 8:30 PM for Older Students

Teen Beginner Class in Western Armenian for Teens 13 to 18

Tuesdays from 6 PM to 8:30 PM

Adult Beginner Class in Western Armenian

Thursdays from 6 PM to 8:30 PM

Tuition for All Classes - $250 Per Person

Fill out a Registration Form and send it to St. Leon Armenian School at the above address.

Registration Forms may be obtained from the church newsletter Lradoo, the vestibule of the church, the Armenian School Office, or call the Armenian School Office and leave your name, address and phone number and a form will be sent to you.
